SMS Terms

These terms cover text messages from Digital Minions.

The program

Digital Minions texts are text messages about:

  • Inquiry follow-ups: answers and next steps about a question or request you sent us.
  • Appointment reminders: reminders and changes for a visit or meeting you booked.
  • Customer support: replies when you ask us for help.

You join by ticking the box on our sign-up page or by texting START to the number we text you from. Marketing texts are separate: we send them only if you tick their own box, and you can say no to them and still get the texts above.

How often

Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan.

Stop or get help

  • Reply STOP to stop all texts. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT work too. You get one text to confirm, then no more program texts unless you opt in again.
  • Reply START or UNSTOP to get texts again.
  • Reply HELP or INFO for help, or email help@digitalminions.co. Support hours are Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Eastern Time, excluding U.S. federal holidays. Messages received outside those hours will be handled during the next support period.
  • Asking us to stop in your own words, on a call or in our website chat works too.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Signing up is not a condition of purchase.

Your privacy

When you sign up for texts, we keep your mobile number, the time, the page you signed up on, your IP address and browser, and the exact words you agreed to with their version, as the record of your consent. We also keep a record when you text STOP, START or HELP.

We do not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share information with service providers only as needed to deliver and support our messaging service, subject to appropriate confidentiality and use restrictions. SMS consent is not transferred to other businesses.

  • We use your number to send the texts you signed up for and to honor STOP. Our SMS provider is Twilio: it delivers the messages for us and receives only what it needs to do that.
  • When you text STOP, your number goes on our opt-out list, and we keep that list so a STOP is always honored.
  • We retain limited records of SMS consent for four years after you withdraw consent or our last message to you, whichever is later, where permitted by law, for compliance and legal purposes only. We never use them to resume messaging.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version and its effective date are shown at the top of this page. The version you agreed to is kept with your sign-up.
