The Digital Minions app

Your AI team, at work where you can see it.

Minions that know your business, in one app on your computer and your phone. See what they did and approve what matters. Already live in Slack? Your minions join you there too.

What's in the app

Built around how an owner-run business works.

Eight parts, one app.

01 · Your minions

A team with jobs, and one place to talk to it.

Each minion is a block: a role, the skills it has been given and the tools it may use, standing on your Minion Mind. You talk to your minions; the team splits the work and brings back only what needs you.

  • Prebuilt blocks for operations, marketing, content, images and the website
  • More minions when you need them, in your plan: Researcher, Reviewer, Cal for scheduling and Ivy for the inbox. Nell, for the phones, is in your plan too
  • Starter gives you any three minions; Team gives you all of them
02 · Tasks + the Needs-you inbox

Every request becomes a task with an owner.

Ask in the app, or in Slack if you use it. Work lands on one board, people and minions side by side. Anything waiting on you lands in one inbox.

  • "Since you last looked": the whole team's night on one screen
  • Owners, due dates, recurring jobs and handoffs
  • An activity log that shows failed and blocked work, not just wins

03 · Knowledge + permissions

One Minion Mind, with doors that lock.

Company, team and private knowledge, filtered before the AI sees anything. Drop in a meeting and the minions propose what they learned. Nothing changes until you say yes.

  • Paste a meeting transcript, or pick a meeting-notes document (Meet notes, notes from the notetaker you already use, or any doc) from Google Drive or OneDrive
  • Review, edit and correct facts, with the old version kept
  • Private stays private, including anything drawn from it
  • Business facts: your prices, hours and service area, checked against every draft. Nell and the website chat say only the ones marked OK for the public

04 · Allow rules + budgets

Delegate without losing the wheel.

You decide what each minion may do alone and what needs a yes first. Pause any of them in one tap.

  • The first time anything leaves the business, you choose: Allow once, Allow always or Always ask. Answer in the app, from an alert on your phone, or in Slack
  • Allow always covers one kind of message, on one channel, for one minion. It's listed under What runs on its own, off in one tap, and still checked at every send. Only the owner can set it
  • Money, first contact, public posts and anything legal always ask. The big sends ask for your approval PIN too
  • A monthly cap that warns you at 80%. Turn on hard stop and paid work pauses at 100%.

05 · Slack, if you use it

Every minion is a teammate you can @mention.

Each minion is its own Slack app, with its own name and its face on every message. Ask in a channel, get the answer in the thread, approve with a button.

  • Research this · Review this · Teach the team · Make a task
  • "Teach the team" always needs an owner or admin to approve

06 · Billing you can read

A bill you can read.

Your bill stays in dollars: your plan, any add-ons you chose, and anything beyond the plan. The team's everyday work is included in your plan.

  • A monthly cap you set: a warning at 80%, and turn on hard stop to pause paid work at 100%
  • "Ask me before any job over $X"

07 · Works with any model

Tied to no single AI.

Each minion runs on the model that suits its job. Swap it when something better ships; the minion keeps its rules and memory.

  • The right model for each job, from several AI companies, or a model you host yourself
  • A fallback model if one provider has a bad day
  • Runs in the cloud, so it works when your laptop is closed

Who sees what.

The short version. Ask us for the detail on a call.

Filtered before the AI sees anything. A caller hears only the facts you marked OK for the public. A private meeting never reaches a caller, and nothing drawn from it does either.

Your own database

Each business gets its own private database. Knowledge, rules and skills are stored there as plain, readable records you can export. Our operator console shows counts and health flags only. Digital Minions support can sign in to help with setup; they see what an admin sees, never your private chats or private notes. Support looks and helps, never approves, sends or connects anything. They set only Digital Minions' own prices and safe defaults; an owner can remove their access.

Calls on record

Every call Nell takes has a transcript, a summary and a recording, visible to your team in the app. Callers are told the call is recorded.
