Minion Sidekick

Minion Sidekick works in your own browser and folders, where you allow it.

Minion Sidekick is how your minions work on your own computer: in the browser you're already signed in to, and in the folders you choose. Every door starts shut. You open the ones you want, and you can shut them all at once.

Every door is yours to open.

Folders and websites are doors. Nothing is shared until you open it, and some doors never open.

Three ways to open a folder

  • Read-onlyMinions can look, never change.
  • Read-writeThey can save files there, after your yes.
  • Read-write, no deletingSaving after your yes; deleting is off.

A delete always asks, and goes to the Trash. A file is never overwritten: a new name gets a -v2 copy unless you approve replacing that exact file. Hidden, system and secret files (keys, .env, credentials) are never shared, even inside an open folder.

Permission, site by site

Your minions use the browser you're already signed in to, one site at a time, only where you've said yes.

Admins can push a blocklist for the whole team.

  • Upload, paste and file-drop sites, so nothing a minion read can be dropped somewhere

Hand back
  • Hand-back at passwords, payments, CAPTCHAs and one-time codes. A minion never types a password, card number or code, and never solves a CAPTCHA. It stops, you do that step in your own browser, and you press Hand back.
  • Your yes before anything changes. Saving a file, submitting a form, buying, sending, posting or deleting asks you first.
  • Untrusted reads raise the bar. After a minion reads something untrusted, writing anywhere else needs your yes.
  • Replay every step. Each task keeps a replay: what it did, where, with screenshots. Password and card fields are masked.
  • One off switch. One switch disconnects every device at once. Pause everyone stops this work too.
Process with Minion View

Heavy lifting, folder by folder.

Mark a folder "Allow cloud processing" and a minion can send its files to Minion View, its own sealed cloud computer, for one job. The files go read-only and are deleted there afterwards.

What comes back is a new file, saved into a read-write folder only after an approval naming it.

The plain small print.

Chrome or Edge, open

Minion Sidekick is a Chrome extension that we install with you during setup, so Chrome or Edge needs to be open. An optional file helper covers folders in the background.

One person per device

An owner or admin pairs a device with a one-time code. It acts as one person, with that person's permissions, and can be removed any time.

No screen control

Minions work in your browser and your folders only. They can't use the other apps on your computer.
