Why not just buy an AI SEO tool?
You can, and if someone on your team runs SEO every week, it's often the right call. A tool gives you the data and the drafts; someone still has to do the job.
Tools in this category typically offer keyword research with search volumes, rank tracking, site audits and an AI writer. They're built for people who know what to do with that: pick the keywords, write the brief, check the draft, publish, and measure. For an owner who isn't going to log in every Monday, the data tends to sit unused.
Will AI-written pages hurt my site?
Not because AI wrote them. Google's spam policies target pages made in bulk to rank, with little value to readers, "no matter how it's created".1
Google calls this scaled content abuse: "many pages are generated for the primary purpose of manipulating search rankings and not helping users".1 Its own example list includes using AI tools "to generate many pages without adding value for users". The risk with any tool that can make a hundred town pages in an afternoon isn't the AI. It's the hundred pages that say the same thing.
Google's guidance on helpful content asks whether a page provides "original information, reporting, research, or analysis".2 For a local business, the original information is the stuff only you have: jobs you've done, your real prices, your towns, your customers' questions.

Which to pick
Pick an SEO tool if
- You, or someone you pay, does SEO every week.
- You need a big keyword database and rank tracking against rivals.
- You run a large online store or many sites, where audit depth matters.
- You only want search help, not a wider team.
Pick Digital Minions if
- You're a local or owner-run business without an SEO person.
- You want pages written from what's true about your business.
- You want to approve pages, not write them.
- You want reviews, phones and follow-ups handled by the same team.
Who we're not for
- Anyone who wants to publish pages in bulk: we won't write a page without real facts behind it.
- SEO professionals who need raw data and full control of every setting.
- Health practices: the app isn't built for patient information.
Before you choose any tool, here are the questions we'd ask. Or see how a minion takes on a job.
